Bass club fished it this weekend in heat/warm waters not far from marina. About 3 fish/angler was all we could manage Saturday but the top 3 or 4 anglers had good size weights. Saw several fish floaters at ramp shortly after weigh-in even though fish at weigh-in were alive.
My fish and reports I know of were caught fairly deep midday mostly either on outside edge of weed lines or were found deeper off of points on very slow fished soft plastics. Note the stumps and especially the sand bars are in places with the low lake level that can surprise you.

Ic well thanks for your input, most lakes being low we must be careful running them.I'll take a slow catch over work anyday LOL,,, I should wait to take a few days of vac. But I'm to the point I have to go.

Just had a buddy tell me it is very very low and they are going to have to work on a problem with the dam so they may drain it back to the channel? Anyone else heard that?

I don't think there is a problem with the dam, that rumor starts every year about this time.I think the Corps has an obligation to keep Dam B at a certain level and the normal power generation causes the lake level to be low, that coupled with the low amount of rainfall has slowly lowered the lake to the present level.A word of caution, stumps are beginning to show up as well as sand bars,so if you don't know the lake real well,be careful
