That's a scream! I recall seeing that periscope picture, or one mighty similar, about 1958.

Your best bet is looking in the used market. There are quite a few people out there upgrading from the 1st gen models, or going to bigger models and they're selling off the older/smaller ones.

put a quadrabeam transducer on one of the compatible non side imaging units. its as close as it comes to side scan.

Fish Killer ,If you use two five gallon buckets that is side imaging. If you use one its down imaging.L.M.A.O. That is the funniest looking rat I have ever seen.
