Okay here it is. We fished that day and nobody was catching anything but we were. Here is where we fished and you can all fight over this spot. If you are patient which most are not and move to much ,it holds a $hit load of big fish. I looked over towards the point that morning and a bass that I considered a 13+ came up.Chasing shad. If you leave the first boat ramp and go past the first cove and go into the second cove their is a tank dam under water. Idle in the dead center in the cove and throw your bouy out when you reach 11 feet. Fish the whole tank dam on the deep part and both inside and out. Fish towards the point also. Throw a Blk,Grn,Grp Gulp Turtle back worm C-Rig.You have to order them from bass pro`s you cant find them anywhere. Also fish the left end of the dam and start out at the point on the left and throw a Darting shad and work your way all the way through the trees to the left. Throw the shad which you can find at Walmart and the bottom of the shelf and worm also up in the trees it holds a lot of fish. I will be expecting a guide service check from all of you in the mail. If you need other areas we fish e- mail me and I will send more info. and pic,s. kjeffery277@gmail.com. Thanks

Send me the pics and i will post them up for you. The fish are there and catchable. I caught a 7lber three weeks ago and a couple more 3lbers to go with it during a tournament. It is no doubt as good as it was a couple months ago but they are still there. When you find one there is usually a couple more to go with it.

Big talk is great, but pictures... that would be the kicker.
I'll gladly backtrack on my statements if you produce the pictures which you SAY that you have.
Its one thing to come on here and say it, a whole other thing to say it and mention you have pics without showing them. THAT is what makes it sound suspicious. Not to mention the water is 115 degrees is the freaking shade.

Wow! I suppose people believe a great winter lake has had all the fish exported elsewhere else for the summer. Its simply because they are not diverse(talented) enough to locate fish except in the obvious places that power plant fish all hang out in the winter and spring. Your temperture reading was clearly and un-arguably inaccurate but I'm sure thats just an operator or equipment failure. Thanks for the info on your trip and you dont hae to prove anything....except we do all enjoy fishing photos

No one else is saying it, so I will... BS on the fishing report.
Fayette is a steam bath right now, and the best fisherman who know it inside and out won't go until it cools because no one is catching squat.
I'll believe it when I see the pics. For now, I'm calling you out.
What an anal opening..........Until you get that post count up a little noob, cool it on calling people out. You have zero cred here.....he's just sharing his experience with us. Go ruin some other board....

N2BAS, Dont let this dude run you off. I believe your story and welcome another Fayette fisherman here. I have fished this lake at least once a week for a long time so I know the fish are there and like the previous poster said, you just have to know where to go sometimes instead of just assuming they aren't biting. As far as the temp goes, these fish are used to the high temp..hell they dont know any better. I could go right now and catch fish in the discharge and its 110 degrees. N2, would like to meet you sometime and shake your hand. P.S. would like to see the pics though...not for proof though.

Thank all of you belivers for your support.
This kind of response from big brown and 361 will keep me on this fourm and will share to everyone not only what we use and where we catch them on any given lake ,which most will not do. I`m not selfish and want everyone to experience what we have learned.
Take a kid fishing,
God Bless
