I have been using G.Loomis rods for awhile and want to get others feedbacks on other rod companies. What other rods are as or more sensitive than a G.Loomis? When I say G.Loomis I mean the upper end both GLX and IMX rods.
Wanting to brach out a little and use some others.

Check out the cumara and dobyns champion extreme rods. Those two are in my opinion very very good rods that are more or less sensitive like the GLX series

I bought some All Pro rods from a guy up north. Not sure if you can get them here. They are out of Tennesee. I had to return a reel to bass pro the other day and i brought my all pro with me. I went and compared it the Gloomis, closed my eyes switched rods around and chose which one felt better and it was the all pro. You can google all pro and go to the web site.
My truck won't start if my rod is not in it!

Have you checked out the BP carbonlite rods. They feel pretty good also for about 100 or so

I have the GLX, Dobyns Champion Extreme and Hendrix rods. Of all of them the Hendrix IM8 is by far the most sensitive, but the Hendrix IM10 has more back-bone. All are great rods, but the Hendrix and GLX are the way to go, I am kinda disappointed with the sensitivity of the Dobyns (but it is the best looking rod!)

but loomis is the benchmark

the lower end GLoomis rods (GL2) are quite mediocre for their price...

Thanks for all the replies. I have been using using the Loomis's and have a few others like the Cumara's, Carrot Stix and Hendrix rods. I have a dobyns rod but its my 805 deep diving crankbait rod. Was thinking about selling a few Cumara's, Carrot Stix and Hendrix worm and jig rods to get a few Loomis GLX's. Have been thinking about down sizing my rod selection and going super highend which is why I was asking. Not sure if I want to do it yet, but have been giving it some thought and have wondered it the GLX is best out there.

Give me a shout if you want to sell any cumara's. I'm a big cumara fan and would like to see what you got.
