That's a timely reminder and an awesome bit of viddy!

I'm running a two for one sale on leaders to fund mine. For each leader bought, from now through September, a second free leader.

You get an extra leader (or ten if you pay for ten) and I get a license with no flak from my boss!

Robin, your $13.00 closer now. I have been wanting to try these leaders out for quite sometime. I look forward to getting them. I wasn't sure what to order, meaning the material (floro or other)

I bought a fishing license when I turned 21 and have taken very good care of it, to buy a new one seems to be just a waste of a perfectly good license. I know a fellow who buys a brand new one each year, I guess he is trying to impress someone, you know the type.

I bought a hunting - fishing combo license a couple of days ago and the guy asked me if I shot any snipe. I told the guy no, but I did tip some cows onto some snipe. I think he thought I was serious because he typed something into the computer.

thank you rrhyne 56, I feel at home already. The earth is 3/4 water so it should be obvious where the creator wants us to spend 3/4 of our time, no? "As I lay me down in bed, dreams of bass are in my head And if I die before I wake, my bamboo rod I'd like to take." Amen

Folks, especially the 40 and younger crowd, buy yourself a lifetime license. If the prices haven't changed, it's $750 for a fishing only, $1000 for hunting and fishing. It seems like a lot of change, but you get all your tags and stamps every year for the rest of your life. Even if you move out of TX like I did, you can still use your license whenever you visit.

I think it's 1000 for fishing or hunting. 1800 for both fishing and hunting.

Dang! I got mine in 2005 for $1000 for a combo. That's a heck of a lot of inflation!

I could be wrong on those prices. They do have two drawings a year to win lifetime combo license. Entry is 5 bucks.
