I was out checking things on the boat & trailer in preparation for an Alabama trip in a couple of weeks. I noticed that the valve stems on all 4 tires were badly cracked. They evidently weren't leaking (yet) but definitely not something to take a risk on.

I took the wheels up to Discount Tire store and asked that new stems be installed. About 15 minutes later they said "all done --- no charge, Just remember us when tires are needed".

I certainly wasn't expecting a freebie on that!

several months ago Discount Tire had a recall on some of thier stems........

Discount will also patch or plug leaky tires, rotate tires, pressure test, and air up to proper pressure all for free. Even if you didn't buy the tires from them originally.

There marketing works, I've bought my last 3 sets of tires from them. I believe in buying from business that I want to stay in business.

I bought 3 sets of tires in the last 4 months from Discount Tire Store.....good service.

But I DO have to be adamant about not wanting the ROAD HAZARD included in the price!

A few months ago I made an appointment to meet the guy at 8:00am for new tires they had ordered for me. The guy was 30 minutes late due to an accident on I-30. Well he gave me one tire free for my inconvenince of having to wait 30 minutes for him to open the store. Like others said above - A1 service and I will be buying new tires from them for my truck next summer for sure.

I had a trailor tire seperate on I30 in Greenville a couple years ago. I made it to the NTB, went inside and stood there 20 minutes and no one was up front. I noticed the Discount Tires across the highway and called them. I told the guy what I needed and he came over, took my tire off, went back to his shop and put a new tire on and came back. And this was right at closing.

discount tires forever!!! all these guys seem terrific,anywhere I go, truck or trailer, they take care of you. Had a flat on boat tlr and no jack, they sent a man out to me on the hwy. with jack,took tire to fix, and returned...no charge!!!

I've bought my last 8 sets of tires from them. I will not go anywhere else. They've even matched other peoples prices for me in the past. A+ Rating in my book.

I love discount. My wife bought from NTB against my advise. Went to rotate, which they do for free, but to balance you have pay. We walked out and I told, honey see you should have bought from Discount.

They will match in a price and discount. They are all over too.

I bought new rims off Craigslist and took them down to Discount to have my current tires mounted, new valve stems, balanced and put on the truck. They did it for the price of new valve stems. Costs about $20. That kind of service works because I've bought $1100 worth of tires from them this week already.

I've had multiple good experiences at 3 different discount tire locations (Frisco, Greenville and Tyler). However, at the Rockwall store, I've had 2 very, very bad experiences. I would recommend any discount tire except that one. At Rockwall, they're just like used car dealers, they'll tell you anything you want to hear about what they have in stock or how soon they can get it in til you get in the store and they'll try to sell you whatever they happen to have.
