I am not saying a word on this one.
As for the stripers in your pond, I would recommend calling a fish farm and talking to them to explain your situation.

They are dead. Strippers can't swim, even the hybrid ones.

They must be weighted down real good or they'd have been floaters.
I'm surprised you'd think they'd still be alive though. Their life expectancy can vary greatly based on whether they're taking care of themselves and whther there are sociopaths in the neighborhood. A few will live into their 80's and beyond. Once they're under water though, I'd say 5 minutes tops.

You could call a fish farm but those places are ususally manned by the church going crowd - hence they may not know much about your problem . Personaly I think it has to be the shoes they wear. Those overly high heels make it impossible to swim even in a shallow pond. But (thank goodness)I wouldn't worry for every one that moves on there is another one to take thier place.

They are dead. Strippers can't swim, even the hybrid ones. But they should be able to float...

C'mon guys grow up!!! Your beating a dead whorse. Nomination for reply of the year Seriously though..... Hyrid may or may not be alive in your pond. I know a few folks that have them and they tell me that they wont hit any artificials. They have to use very small minnows or pellet food to catch them. Contact Fatty McButterpants (a mod on here), he had them put in his pond. Also Meadowlark on this forum is an encyclopedia of wisdom on pond stockings. PM the two of them and I'll bet they can point ya in the right direction. Now, if you have strippers stocked in there, contact DJTripleR. He knows exactly how to harvest them
