I dont personally know many of you on this forum but in a weird way feel like friends with many from the countless hours spent reading the posts and a common love for the sport. I have fished with some of you ,against many and hopefully will meet many more in the future.

As I'm sitting here on night 4 at Childrens Hospital in Dallas just thought I would share a little of what my daughter, who is 8, is going through right now. She has been diagnosed with a rare condition known as HSP (cant say or spell the whole name)and has been very sick and in alot of pain. Her feet and knees are swollen now to the point she cannot stand or walk and she can hardly eat or drink. There is no treatment for this condition only pain management. Good news is it heals on its own usually with minimal effects within 2-6 weeks. She loves to fish and competed in her 1st youth tournament this spring.

I know there are alot of good people on this forum and I just wanted to ask for a few prayers for her dealing with the pain and a speedy recovery. I truly believe in the power of prayer and am grateful to all who cast a few her way.

Sent. Hope things get better soon, and you can both get back to fishing.
