I would appreciate any new reports. We're heading down there next weekend (12th thru 15th). We are going to camp at Sulphur Springs, and I'm wondering if the fishing will be good there, or if we need to go down to the park to fish. Thanks for any info. Greg

We fished the park on 3-5. My group of four people caught about 80 fish and kept about 60.Of the 30 that I cleaned two were female. I believe the run is still gaining strength and should peak within the next two weeks.

Thanks onthewater. Sounds like we might hit it just right. Was the river up or down? Last year when we went it was pretty high and made it kinda hard for the kids to bank fish. Any more reports would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Greg

I was out past weekend as well, and will be again this weekend. rains brought river up a bit and stronger current, but color is perfect, not too clear. fish have started so we have a good month now ahead of us. figure about two weeks for the peak, but now is good with these green fish great fighters. not many females at all, limits possible if you fish fairly hard. river is up enough to stretch fish out up river.
