i want to put a few tilapia, and a few grass carp in my moms pond to clear out the moss. where can i get themm?

we used a rake to pull out a bunch in our tank made some awesome compost to boot

the prices at overton look good, but i need somewhere closer i only want like 15 fish. they want $500 minimum for a delivery. anyone got anywhere closer?

You might call luster fish and wildlife Jason Luster he's in weatherford 817-304-1116. I'd wait till next year to stock them not much time left for them to do you any good this year.

Grass carp will not eat moss. What you need to by is called cutrine-plus i use it on my pond and it clears it right up in a couple of days.

call overton, I use them to stock tilapia yearly. They make trips to dfw area pretty regularly, and don't require that $500 min if picked up on their schedule when they are in the area. I meet them in Bowie to pick up my fish and bring them back the final 50 miles.

I had good luck using barley straw (in bales) on small farm ponds-don't know how well it works on larger areas...

You can also drive to Overtons and they will box them up for you, the fish will last a couple hour drive pretty easy I m sure.
