I am staying on Granbury with the fam this weekend for my nieces B Day. I'll be taking the kids fishing sat and sun  I haven't ever been on this lake can anyone gives me any tips? It would be much appreciated  I will post pics of the trip on mon. Hoping to get into some stripers or sandies

A week ago you could have had a boat load, but for the past week it has been a bust for sandies! Late morning they pop up for a few seconds in deep water then back down. I fish mainly the lower end from sandybeach area to damn. Hope the cool front will bring them back around. If anyone knows where they are let us know.

We went out there Friday night and caught 10 sandies. We focused on finding underwater lights on docks and got alot of good bites. Start from Grawgy Dawg and work ur way up to the dam and stop and fish the underwater lights. Plus u will beat the heat.

Stripers are good to 7lbs early on the lower ends near the pump stations on live bait.
