Anyone out there ever fish this small lake near Fort Worth?

Yes,its a small lake.One of the first lakes in Texas stocked with Florida bass,in the 70's.Theres some nice bass in it,but there hard to catch.I fished it a few sundays ago and caught 5 decent fish,biggest about 4 1/2 pounds.It has a 18 inch or over slot.

I don't know if things are better now that the neighborhood has been built up, but to be on the safe side, if your out there after dark, carry a gun.

Marine creek is not near as bad as in the past wouldnt reccomend after dark Catch alot of keeper size crappie and catfish dont fish for those green backs

Fished regularly a couple of years ago when all I had was a Jon boat. Caught a lot of crappie and sandbass, but the LMB are hard to come by over 18". I've only landed one that size.
As for safety... Never had a problem. Even fished there at night (all night long) many times. Of course I was "carrying" nevertheless! Just saying...

I don't know if things are better now that the neighborhood has been built up, but to be on the safe side, if your out there after dark, carry a gun. +1 had a run in with some wanna be lil thugs 2 years ago but all they caught was a butt whoopin  Just F.Y.I I was fishing with a friend until he left then the trouble started. If you go at night go with a partner. Should be good
