Fished CC this morning with repeats Tom Leligh and his daughter and brotehr in law. We got on water late thanks to my stupidity, anyway missed out on some early schooling. Did get 2 nice Whites near dam, then headed north and got 66 from Enchanted Island up to 17.75 inches and a lot over 14 inches, all on the hell/pet rig. Went to a point souith of there and got 32 more in 11-13 inch size in water 16-18 feet. Ended day att 11:15 with a 4 person limit of 100, and releasing about 30 more.
Lake flat calm and hot, hot !!
Saw Mr. Paty with 2 nice young ladies in his boat.

That wasn't me We were wearing rainbow wigs.
What part of lake did you see us on? We spent a lot of time at Enchanted Island. You should have stopped by and said Hello.

I was there when you got there. We caught some on hel/pet as well. Didn't want to get in the way while you had customers. My friend Barb and her husband were there too and caught some big ones slabing. Sharon

2nd shift has been doing pretty well too. We've been going out after Noon and finding fish in 13'-19'of water, on top of humps. Didn't even make it to the main lake yesterday. Found a couple of new humps and some big brush piles that will be targeted for crappie one of these days.

I agree, yesterday afternoon was pretty good Spine. After we saw you at the bridge we headed down to Crappie Island and caught 7 hybrids to 7.5 lbs a few nice sandies and three catfish. All were caught trolling not exactly the hell/pet combo but a similar set up. Lots of boats all around us catching hybrids.

I fish..... Therefore I am!!!

Forgot about the cats. We caught 5, all very nice size and several almost cooking size yellows. Great to hear about the hybrids. I'll have to hit the main lake next time.

I THINK YOU GUYS HAVE IT PEGGED, IF I COULD GET OUT IN THE AFTERNOONS AND START LATE, TROLLING FOR SANDBASS WOULD BE QUICK AND EASY, VERY QUICK AND THEN HYBRIDS WOULD BE A LITTLE BIT EASIER AS WELL. BUT IT GETS TOO HOT FOR SOME PEOPLE SO WE ALWAYS START IN THE MORNING, AND ALMOST 2 HOURS BACK TO FORT WORTH, WOULD MAKE ME WORTHLESS THE NEXT DAY DURING THE WEEK, BUT PLAN ON FISHING SOME AFTERNOONS THIS MONTH ON A WEEKEND.
