anyone ever used a 7" worm on the back of a jig? bigger bait = bigger fish... Never tried jt but just curios.

Either a sunfish colored jig or a BIG worm on a shaky head for me.

Jig. Can't recall using a 7" worm but I have used a 6" lizard a few times.

Usually the same bait I was using for smaller fish, but in big fish areas/spots. I would say some of my best big fish days have come on a weightless Senko

Nationwide there are probably more big (over 8 lbs) bass caught on big worms than anything else. But if you want to specifically target big bass, the swimbait rules.

I caught 'em. 9 out of ten times I'm using a crawfish imitator unless I'm swimming a jig. In that situation I like to use a little swimbait as a trailer.
