Fish the timber in deep water or by bridge pilings. Channels should be stacked. Pay attention to the finder they should be in 20-30 ft waters 4-5 ft off the bottom. Fish shad, liver, stinkbaits. There is a feeder on the end of a long dock at Lake fork marina/cafe that is loaded with big channels at dusk. I like to make cottonseed doughballs for that dock. It distributes range cubes so you are matching the bait they are used to.

Good luck!

Although I have been fishing for bass, those Fork catfish have been murdering my dark colored crankbaits along shallow grass at night.

No lie - I even picked up one on a Rico topwater.

I wish I could figure out how to quit catching them...not a fan of the slime on my deck.

I was out bass fishing last month on Fork at night, and the channels were swarming under the lights on docks eating bugs off the surface. I have never seen anything like it. I'd definitely try the lit boat docks at least once.
