Anyone know of a place to catch mudcat or small bream close to I 20 and 360 ? I'm new to the area and looking for a place to catch some bait.. Thanks

Try your community lakes and creeks. You will mainly catch Channels. As for bait usually shad. Catch them in your larger lakes or rivers. Make sure you have a good cast net. Good luck.

Thanks for the information ! I'm wanting to set up a big stock tank with aeration to keep them on hand for this winter when the shad get hard to find.

best bet in your area would be cottonwood creek in grand prairie or the city park in kennedale. both are usually full of bream and mud cat!

What do you catch with them. Do you use them as cut bait or what?
