Like to know who else likes to throw redfins at the riprap along the dam this time of year. What is your favourite color?( Rainbow trout).
Also what is your backup bait? I've been thinking about trying a 9 to 12 inch optima swim bait waked across the top after a blowup.I'm serious, a 5lb striper will hit a 7" redfin, then ??lb will hit a 12" bait.
The central Texas lake action will starty here anytime and last until some time in April. How about you norrth Texas boys, when do they start hanging around the rocks up there?

I love to see a big fish blow up on a redfin. I like the chrome jointed version. one less set of trebles to deal with. It also has more action at a very slow retrieve. I will start throwing it in late march till mid may. MO
