As long as the mfg's keep coming up with all of the"new & improved" stuff it will always be that way. Cause we all ain't nothin but a bunch of tackle ho's.  Steve

Don't forget the Fish Taco. I switched rods once. Changed out my entire aresenal for personal reasons. Had zero to do with the actual rods. A very accomplished fisherman asked me shortly there after why I did it. I told him the story. He said, "does it help you catch more fish?" I said, "nope". He just smiled. Eventually, you're just buying tackle and following the herd.  And that's all I have to say about that.

I am getting behind on the times...I just bought some LFT baby shad from crazy angler today. And....I will hopefully will be getting my first (besides fly rod) St. Croix. Heck, I hadnt even heard of rocky tops till bout a week ago.
Guess its cuz i live owt inna stiks anna wave from dis her innernet takes a'while fo meh tay get alla infomashun bout dis fansee shmansee tecnowlogee fo mah crappy fishun addictshun

I bought St Croixs and have yet to break one.   Ohh, it's coming now. A Bill Dance tailgate crunch or something will pop up now that you've said that.  I knocked on wood!

My Crappie stuff is old school except for an occassional latest greatest jig to try it out. My Bass habit on the other hand is out of control!
