The body would need to maintain the rings to capture air bubbles and maybe even a pocket for rattles or a chunk of alka seltzer. At least my boat and truck are paid for, woo hoo!

Car-rigs are much better if the bait FLOATS!! How about a plastic stick bait that has a pocket to insert a rattle or a cork float to give it a different action. Placement is key bc how would you keep the rattle in the bait while using it? Land was created to provide a place for boats to visit!! It is when pirates count their booty that they become mere thieves. ARRRRRR....

It is going to be very difficult to create an air chamber large enough to float a bunch of salt. Most floating baits have no salt or very, very little.
