I had friend of mine tell me not fish out there at night cause there's big gators in that lake. I have only seen one and that was in Birch and by the Golf course. I do alot of bank fishing out at Fork and he says that they everywhere and are active at night. Have you guys seen any out there?

I heard three people where missing this year alone from gator attacks. But a one arm guy named "Stubby" told me this. So I do not know how much faith I would put into it. I wonder how he lost his arm. Oh well, good luck fishing!

If they're like the bass, you don't have to worry about them..

There are DEFINATELY gators in Fork. We were about 10 ft away from at least a 10 footer in Little Caney. I will see if I can find the pictures we posted here about a year ago.

I equate gators to coyotes and wolves. I think they don't want any part of us as much as we don't want part of them. Most of the ones I have encountered have run like heck when I approached them. They are a rarity to see and reclusive until the mating season when they are seen the most.

Usually you hear the babies before you see them.

They are not like saltwater crocs, they don't come and chase you down...lol. They are terrified of most everything...except Sinkey...he normally smells like a hippo from all the late night bar excursions....

I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter, I'm always up early...just not always around a computer. She wanted to come to the marina to give "her" fish a kiss. LOL

I have pictures of at least five in little caney back by the bridge hanging out together. On was HUGE... at least 12 foot. I am fishing there tonight, I just keep an eye around the boat often, and I make sure I fish with people I can outswim or outrun if I need to....

there are aligators in probably 75% of the lakes in North Texas.
Just like there are bobcats in every part of the Metromess.
They just don't want to be seen.
