i am being told by 2 different repair places that my motorguide needs a digital conversion because parts are no longer available. has anyone done this conversion or i will welcome opinions regarding the pros and cons. it seems to me the best deal is to buy a new trolling motor. just looking for ideas and opinions

It often costs more than what the motor is worth. All star converted my MG109, it cost 900. It was still under warranty so it was covered. Get an estimate for the conversion it's probably not worth it.
