Wondered if any Forum members have used or know anyone who has used any product like the ready pour "SeaCast" to replace their boat transom????? NO wood envolved just remove the old rotted wood and refill hollowed out transom shell w/ pour in solution. Seems like filling the void w/ a bulk load of fiberglass rosin and choped up fiber glass would do the same job. I wonder if this method is safe and would hold up on an old 1970's ranger bass boat w/115 hp. ???????????????

Thanks for the reply. That guys story and pics about using seacast was helpful. I'm still not sure if the drain holes under the motor cowling need to be removed and I would think the hull drain plug hole would be able to stay in place. Not sure about this ranger boat cap. Only the middle part where the motor sits is exposed. The wood seems to be pretty rotten so maybe wood on the left and right of the motor can be gotten to form the center area
