I was there. Its longer then the Jetties. And for right now its six a person becuase they aren't open in the day time.

i called today and bathrooms are now working and he said next week they are going to be open 24-7

I plan to go there.
One reason is for the fishing.
Another reason is to help support the business venture.
It may or may not prove to be perfect in every way.
Nonethless, the driving force is for an entrepeneur to make a profit, and the pier can only exist with our patronage.
It's good for Galveston, and it's good for fishing.
I wish him success, and all who visit, to just catch lots of fish.

It's good for Galveston, and it's good for fishing.
It's also one step getting back to the island being normal again after Ike.
I'm always catch and release, except for cut bait.

looks nice. it goes out past the 3rd sandbar for sure. too bad the surf is mudsoup this weekend. awesome lights shinin in the water.
went to seawolf last night and there shoulder to shoulder people the whole length of the pier. that sucked.
