Just bought a NIB Chronarch 50mg on this site. Now I need some help-advice on which rod to put it on. Probably under $200. i know it matters what type of fishing I will be doing with it before you can advise me. I'm thinking maybe senko-soft plastic but could probably use advice on that too. Thanks--Lewis Perry

Get the shimano cumara. You can find them for around $150-170. It goes great with that chronarch 50mg. I have mine paired with a shimano cumara 6'8 medium power fast action rod rated for 6-12lb line and it's freakishly light.

I have mine in lighter applications that dictate the rod to us. Wacky worm, small crank, light wire hook applictions.

Yeah, check out the Cumara casting rods. You need a medium heavy power with a fast,or,extra fast, action. They come in several lengths so see which length you prefer. You don't have to buy the rod the same day you look at them. Go to the store, check 'em out,go home, and think about it,before you buy.

I have both of mine on a Temple Fork Outfitter TFG FWC 704-1. One for soft plastics and one for cranks/spinnerbaits.

Stress less, relax more. Go fishing.

You should really consider the cumara either 6'8 MXF for that application or perhaps the 6'8 MHXF if you'll be throwing in thicker stuff. I had it on a cumara for a long time and it was my favorite setup period.

I'd personally go with a St. Croix Avid AVC68MXF myself.
