My mom and uncle wanted me to ask if anyone knew any good spots to shore fish. They just like to fish, and don't care what kind of fish they catch. all information would be helpful.

Around the marina.... ton of bass hang out in there and some toads.

There is a fishing barge near camp Tyler,its called Fritz an opals fishing barge.You have to pay to fish but it can be worth it if you don't have a boat.they sell minnows,bait and drinks and snacks.Fritz is a goodman.I've known him for years.

What do you usually throw there?

Mornings a top water like a yellow magic around the boat slips... alos frogs around the matted up grass.... then when it heats up the fish will suck up tight to the shade. T-rigs, shaky heads, or drop shot.
