There are campsite almost right on the river.Good Luck with the fishing, and it is a great spot all round. The family and I are going back up to camp when it cools off some and try some fly fishing.

I was there last week end. Rented a cabin North of the golf course that was about $140 per night. We did a 5 mile kayak trip down the mountian fork I probably saw a 1000 fish of all types. Can't wait to go back and wet a line!

Upper or Lower Mountain Fork? I imagine it was the Lower as the upper is at dangerous low flows right now.

Also you can go to beavers bend fly shop on line and get up to date fishing reports on the lower mt. fork. Sid and his Wife run the fly shop in the park their and are very helpfull!! the wife and i are headed that way this weekend. its going to be hot lol!!
you can get camp sites like they sed right on the water were the river is fishable no water or elct.. to get water and elct. you have to go down river were the water is deeper now because the have the level raised during the summer months.. good luck!! may see yall this weekend!! my third time up..

pick a spot below the evening hole. you can work your way up stream into the evening hole, lost creek and even up through zone 1 and work the runs below the evening hole. but you will probably get messed up by the canoes.
