Went over to lake fork with my brother -n-law today to give the crappie a go! I have been on a solid pattern on Fork for most of the summer, but a few weeks ago when I was down there fishing, things had changed a bit. The vertical bite was gone, and all my bites were seen, rather than felt as the fish were taking the bait on the fall! Today was no different, we caught all our fish today on native ( not man made brush) timber, in 20-22 foot of water. All our fish came on the new LFT Baby Shad in Chart. Ice. Tried several other colors today, but couldnt get bit. Went back to the chart. ice and it was on. Here are the pics, enjoy...  Notice the collarless Jig head..  They were eatin it...  Nice white crappie..  The white crappie were on fire at this spot...  A Cooler Full..  The top fish on the board went right at 2 pounds, and probably would of won me some $$$ at Super Slabs..But I gotta work..  All in all it was a great day on the lake, lite breeze, a bit hot, but the fish were bitting!  Good Fishin John

Dont worry +h20, these fish are on the move at Fork right now, those fish wont be there in a week! All I can say is, my electronics payed big dividends today!
