Went to Purtis Creek yesterday to take some pictures and do a little fishing. It was so hot I was afraid I was going to melt but I got this picture and few like it and thought I would share it. When people ask me why I spend so much time at the lake I point to photos like this and say. "Does that answer your question?"

Its been about 10 days for us, been watching the deer, great twin fawn crop this year at PC, and been seeing a few bucks in velvet in the mix.
We most likely will be there this weekend.
Nice picture.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. ~John Buchan
