Have been out there ALOT. The Hybrids are deep, at least thirty feet and moving around quite a bit. The Sandies are starting to stay on top a little longer. Yesterday saw some good schooling on the north end where the river starts.

Catching larger hybrids than in the last couple years, but not quite as many. Sand bass numbers seem to be down quite a bit most all the sand bass I have seen schooling this year have been on the north end of the main lake or west of horse shoe island going towards the creek.

Keith knows the lake very, very well and is an excellent guide.
I haven't been out as much the last couple of weeks, due to the HEAT !! We've been out some in the morning, and are easily catching the sandies, and a few black bass. Stripers and Hybrids not biting for us - but we just got a new anchor (the old one wasn't holding at all any more) so we'll see what happens next weekend ! I have yet to try my new TNT slab...

You wont be disappointed with the TNT Slab. I have done very well on Lewisville with em. Grab ya Flies-by-Night fly and they are deadly!

The slab bite should pick up when the temps drop a few degrees, or when one of these fronts actually comes through.

You got it Keith - gets frustrating to keep hearing the weather folks say that we are fixing to break this 100 plus heat, only to have them turn back around and say that we aren't getting a front after all!!

Was out Sunday evening. Caught all fish on slabs at hump out from dam. Saw a Raballo, Roballa, whatever boat, seemed to be doing pretty well on point in front of dam. All my fish were pretty small. undersized h'brids mainly. A few sandies but were small also. Caught two nice slot bass of all things, trolling on west side at Runaway Bay and finally saw some sandies surfacing out in middle. Fish were up for a minute then disappeared. First decent schooling I've seen this year but was very short lived. Can't seem to find the bigger H'brids. Gonna try shad this Friday morning with nephew. Deep per Keith's advice. If anyone is out there Friday, stop and say "hey"
