 LL in the heat with Malic the Flies-By-Night guy!

Malic and I went out the last 2 days to have a little fun before school starts back up, and we had a blast!! Water temps were in the high 80's to low 90's and the water is in pretty good shape! Fish are really easy to find and catch! Limits of big fish are being caught daily!! The fish are almost endless one after another all day! All of our fish were caught using LEAD BABIES SLABS and FLIES-BY-NIGHT FLIES and THE NEW FLIES-BY-NIGHT SLABS!! With some top water mixed in, here-and-there! I would estimate that we caught around 500-600 fish the last two days! Man our fingers and arms are sore. All released for another day.  Hybrid on the fly  Another Hybrid on the fly  Malic with some good sized doubles  Hybrid on the LEAD BABIES and a SANDY on the fly

500-600 fish, great job boys! Malic's flies will definently catch em. Weekday fishing is the way to go, no trollers and other maniacs blasting through the fish.

Thats awesome. How are you rigging the slab and fly? I have heard of this but have never tried it.

flies-by-night.com has directions but you tie the slab on and a then 18 inches above that you tie a dropper loop knot. Then just loop the fly on there and go at it!
