I just noticed my Texoma license says valid from 12/31/05 thru 12/31/05 I paid for a 2006 license it has a 6 on it like my other lic but the date shows valid for 1 day! A new years eve license!
Does anyone else have this issue?

all texoma liscecse expire 12/31. they did this becouse texas and oklahoma liscense expire at diffrent times. it was the only way to keep it fair for both states.

If you bought it on 12/30/05 then it was only good for one day. That $**ks! I think they should run it just like texas or it should be good for 1 year nomatter when you buy it. This has definately stoped me from going up to texoma in Nov,Dec and buying a license that is only good for 1 or 2 months, let alone 1 day!

I'd go back to the shop at which you bought the license and raise hell.

They should have told you what you'd get yourself into!

That's pretty $h***y of the person that sold it to you, if they knew. But at $12.50, that's cheaper than anything else for such a big lake with all those fish.

you should be able to buy an '06 license on 12/30/05 - they made a mistake - with any luck, there'll be a way for 'em to fix it. good luck.

With the price of gas these days, $12 is pocket change for a trip to Texoma.

I bought it on 12/31/05. It should be good for the whole year. It says 6 on it like the other license but it says it expires before 06 even started. I hope the warden doesn't freak out if I get checked.

BTW what does the price of gas have to do with getting wrong info on a fishing license?

My friends has the same dates on his license. (He bought it the same day)

Did you buy it and fish on 12/31/05 ? If so you bought a one day license.

The Texas license works the same way. If fellow
only fishes one day a year ( 8/30/), and buys a
license to fish that day, it expires on
9/1 .

It is a Texoma License. I paid $12.50 for it and I said nothing about wanting a one day license. Why would I pay the same for a one day license as a year long license.
I am not sure but I have never heard of a one day Texomna License. You either get a one year license or none at all!

I think the seller just didn't realize that he sold you one good for one day only. Probably going to have to chalk it up to "lesson learned".
Unless you raise enough cain that they give you another one.....

I must agree with dgruff. Also Mark do not worry about the money. Life is too short to worry about a few bucks. I just spent $1500 on a boat that is not worth much more than that. I should worry!
