I'm gonna go ahead and let the cat out of the bag.
Kevin(we're on a first name basis) calls me and say's to me "Karl (AKA Texan4Liberty)what should I be doing on this lake"?
Continues "Skeet is so far ahead of me in the point standings and I need a win or a top 10 finish".
I reply "Kev.(Kevin for short and only his wife and I can call him that)you need to pull out one of those prototype deep diving Sexy Shads Strike King has been working on and hit that structure I pointed out to you on the map I sent you, and work it hard"
He replies back to me "Karl your the man, I think that might work".
I say "Have I ever let you down Kev.? Look at how many AOY's you have because of my advice".
I continue "just go out there and fish your stengths, and don't give up, When it is all over you'll have Skeet crying in front of millions of people again".
Kevin say's to me after a little small talk that he is so glad he has me to turn to for advice and doesn't know what he'd do if he had to figure it out himself. And this is still the greatest post of all time.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know when to go fishing.
