Ok, so my buddy and I were discussing lake fork and which side of the lake most people prefer to fish. This conversation got brought up after they fished Media last Sat and observed about 70% of the field going left out of the Minnow Bucket. While this may be a ridiculously silly question, Im still curious.....Which side of Lake Fork do you guys prefer to fish?

West (LFM, Mustang, Pinson, Birch area)

or

East (Minnow Bucket, Big Caney, Glade, Coffee Creek area)

Ok I'll start....I have had better success for the most part on the West Side.

Usually launch from Rainswood, LFM, or Popes.

Dude Im not trying to get any spots......This isn't about that at all. Im just bored as hell at work, my buddy said he thought most fisherman/guides gravitate more towards the West side now....I said thats a pretty bold opinion....and thought it would be fun to see yall's views. Thats all.

Sorry, I know... FZ1 finds his own fish...FZ1 asks no questions....FZ1 speaks in 3rd person because he's cool.

I have no idea if I'm right or not, but my perception is that the West side gets a lot more pressure, so I would prefer the East side--if for no reason other than less traffic.

Just all depends on time of year. I have always fished the east side, but have been wondering over to the west, the west has alot more deep spots to fish right now. I fished the JC night tourny and all but 2 boats went towards the damn and west side, it was kinda funny I was rethinking what I had planned at that time.
