OP westtxbasser Outdoorsman W Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 113 texas	went down to the nueces river just down from the dam and fished some trees and cover and cuaght my first 3 lmb and was awesome. first two were around 2 lbs and the third was somewhere around 3 lbs at 18 inches long. some kind of snake was out there swimmin on the top of the water it was blackish not sure what it was but hopefully not a water moc. also i swear to it i saw mullet swimmin around but thats not salt water any ideas? Cottonmouths are usually fat. Most of the water snakes down there are black or a very dark green.
