They were renovating the ramp. Its pretty darn nice now, you can go three wide if everyone knows what they are doing. They recently striped the parking lot as well.

Do you still have to have a permit, to fish this lake? Pick it up in town Monday-Friday?

Yes you still need a lake sticker.As far as i know the little lake office is still open mon-Fri.
Ive heard rumors,they were gonna shut it down,and you could get them at area stores.But i dont know for sure.
