Posted this elsewhere but did not get any help.
Well without getting into it, I REALLY broke my motor guide trolling motor that came with my 17.5 bass tracker. I use this boat exclusively on an 800 acre private lake. So I need a new one and have done zero research so far. Normally I do quite a bit of research before buying but I am crunched for time so I thought this might help me narrow the window a little quicker. What would yall recommend. The budget is pretty open so I want to hear from yall what is the best. I bass fish from it and also crappie fish over brushpiles. The other one worked fine except I had difficulty staying over a brush pile in a moderate wind. Dont they have some TMs now that you can set a GPS coordinate and it will keep you positioned there or take you down a certain track you have stored? Thanks in advance for any opinions or recommendations.

12V is probably all that you need. I know BPS had some with about 50# thrust on sale recently.
