I here people talking about fresh shad, do yall recomend catching bait every trip or can I freeze and refreeze bait.

This time of year catching shad is easier so it's not neccessary to freeze and refreeze it. I'd catch what ya need each trip.

+1 I do freeze some shad in the winter when they get tough to catch. I never refreeze it though, and when I do freeze them I have had the best luck with shad that have been out of the water on ice for less than an hour.
