Any suggestions on bass fishing there? Got a small club tournament there this weekend.

Pop R first thing in the morning on the Damn and then go up in the river. Fish everything in the river. Little tricky getting in. May take a little time.

Havn't been in two weeks but I live in cleburne. I'll put money on how this goes. First thing go to the damn jillion ppl will be there but thats cause there are fish. Throw a pop'n bait, a sinko or a shakey head (rember the shakey head all day will get bit). Run to other rock bank (only one other on the lake) do the same thing. Once it gets hot just settle in for a long day with little fish. If you like to flip go to robinsons branch and fish from the point all the way in and up the creek. Everywhere the grass makes funky edges fish with the flip'n or a white spinner bait. Ok that is the 99% success rate plan that will get you bit, which I have seen 1 fish win tourneys there fairly often. Problem with this is there arn't many big fish gona get caught this way.
Swing for the fences plan is, crank and jig/carolina rig/BIG t-rig damn and main lake points all day. You will be a hero or a zero. If you get bit on the points they WILL be better fish than the average flipp'n bite. I watched Chad Griffin spank me one day in 25 mile an hour wind fishing one point, he got 3 bites weighed in 3 fish for like 14 pounds... thats HUGE on pat.
5 fish tourney will be won with 13-16 pounds unless sombody randomly bumps into a big fish. But if yall break 16 I will be shocked. If it's three fish it will be won by 10-12 pounds. If not less... Post the results and let me know
