i fished friday sat and sun, i caught five hybrids, on sat, all about 5 to 7 lbs.
alot of sandbass on all 3 days.
one real ugly channel cat, i mean ugly....

the bite should pick up about the end of september if it goes the same as the last 2 years
.....
shad is easy to find and so are the sandies.
i saw alot of trollers picking them up as well as casting for them.
they are schooling up in the mornings and late afternoons,,,,
i was in about 2 acres of them and i was the only boat there, so i did as you would expect.......
i wore them out.at the dallas pump station...
I saw omar north of the bridge,,,,
and he looked to be catching fish. sandies im sure..

unless your sand bass fishin ..
its kinda hard to get a bite there right now.
althought i did see alot of people fishin under the 2 mile bridge,, atleast they were in the shade......

... oh well thats why they call it fishin and not catchin.....

Yes, I was there from friday night til Sunday. They were schooling hard core, but I couldn't catch anyting bigger than 6" JR. sandies. Oh well. Next weekend will be better. Had a nice talk with Jimmy Smith. Very nice fellow.

Jim I know you were in hog heaven in the middle of all of those fish by yourself. That is a fishermans dream because you dont have to worry about a boat shooting through your school of fish. I sure do want to fish with you one of these days in the near future!!!

well jsmoove007, im gonna be there this week end , give me a call and i will take you out..
it was fun they werent all big sandies but they sure were hungry.

i down sized my tackle to ultra lite and i had a blast.. 4lb line.............i caught them till i was tired of it and i left them biting.......


and i bet they are still there.
