boat in shop for "gator hull" repair

anyone heard of this ? a large portion of gelcoat came off .i have no warranty. i have it in the shop now.thanks,greg

No warranty? Was it Lake Fork Fiberglass that installed it? Are they still in business? I would think they would offer a lifetime warranty like Toledo Fiberglass offers on their Gorilla Hulls. Let us know the details as this has been discussed here many times.

what i meant was my boat is out of warranty. it is in shop to have first "gator hull". my used boat guy set this up for me but i don't really know what i am getting in to.it is cheaper than the major gelcoat repair that i need. thanks,greg

Gotcha. I think the Gator Hull is a good addition, however I am not sure about using it instead of a gel coat repair. You might check with Weekender and see how it all turned out. http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbt...ull#Post5045768
