We chased the birds again on the west end of Texoma Sunday evening. We only caught 7. Five of them were in the 5 1/2 pound range, one was nearly 5 pounds and one was a dink. Caught most of them on tailhummers. Still having trouble catching large numbers of them. Fishin buddy hooked into something big, real big! He fought it for about a minute before the brute spit out the tailhummer. Wish we could have seen it. I wonder what would happen if we trolled a hell/pet combo around the perimeter of the birds?
