It was hot! But I caught some fish so it was not to bad. The sandies were schooling by the 121 cut. So I dropped a TNT Slab below them and caught my keepers that away. Did a bit of crappie fishing under 35 just stay out of the sun for a little bit. Here is a pic of the days catch.

I think I had one, but you know how the story goes. I was fishing with a crappie type set up, 10 lb test line and light spinning reel. Hooked in to something good, started peeling drag., but eventually got me hung in something on the bottom. It was definitely a good fish.

By good probably 4-5 lbs, which would have been great for me, still havent caught my first hybrid, but hopefully next time I can get me one.

TNT Slabs are my new GO TO bait. I love the silver and chartruese, I am going to have to go buy me some, that hybrid that got away also took my favorite slab with him
