I have 3 batteries... start, and 2 trolls. the trolls are both independent, not connected in series. i just have a switch on the troll to switch from one batt to the other, its only a 12v troll.

so if my starter batt is low and wont start, im wondering if i could just hook cables from the pos start batt to a positive troll batt, and from neg start batt to neg troll batt, to get juice enough to start the engine, or would this cause some kind of problem?

It would not be easy to just move the cables from the start batt to the troll batt because of they way they are bolted on and because of the position of them, but putting some clamps from one joining to the other would be relative easy in an emergency.

Yes you can, just make sure you hook it up + to + & - to-. If you don't make sure you you can damage some things on the motor that are very $$$$$$$$$$$. I hope this helps. I know other people will chime in that knows alot more than I do.

That'll work fine. Just be careful to observe polarity.

I forgot to mention that i have a minnkota 3 bank charger connected to all 3, that wont cause some kind of short will it?
Assuming i disconnect the jumpers before i charge again..

no I have the same charger and have jumped mine a few times.
just use the cables to jump and then disconnect till you need them again, if you leave them hooked up it will drain the good battery till the two are the same level and it may not be enough to start the engine again.
