dont know of your particular lake but in the summer time your boat ramps and about any wind blown gravel shorelines will hold shad.

I have seen them as far as you can go up the Colorodo, this time of year. You could clap your hands and they would flurry the surface everytime I would clap. It was amaizing they were everywhere, but no bass could be caught.

Some catfishermen I know go to the low water crossing at Paint Rock.

Turn east on the south side of the court house and follow that road to the crossing. When you cross the Concho River on the highway, look to the east and you can see it. Throw your net on the west side of the crossing.
