Why is that? Is there not enough small bait down south?
I noticed a lot more fish up in Oklahoma also, even with more anglers out keeping everything they caught.
Makes one think.

don't take this wrong because i just moved from san antonio a few months ago. but i think that tpwd puts more effort into stocking the lakes up here. i have fished alot of water here as well as there and the fishing down there just doesn't compare. but hopefully with all the new outdoors stores going in they may step it up and give yall the fishing holes you deserve
