I never said anything about going to jail I said they would pull you aside and write you a ticket. They have wrote alot of tickets in the last two years during the legend tournament, now they have had guys go to jail out there for tail cutting during that tournament. I think that it should be a collective vote for the guys that are out there as to whether or not a fish that touches 14" gets weighed. There are alot of tounaments that wont let you weigh a fish if it touches the bottom mark of the slot. I really wish they would just do away with the slot out there and this discussion wouldnt even exist.

Theres no doubt that would have had a winning bag and they had the winning bag the week before. They are on good fish and I would like to say congrats. Its a hard lake to pattern fish on from day to day let alone 2 weeks in a row I have no doubt that they will do good again next week. The 14" thing has been cussed and discussed for a long time out there. I dont think that there is a deffinative answer on who is right or wrong. I do think that if its going to cause problems with everyone that we could have Penny or Chris (gamewardens) come out and define exactly what they would consider a legal catch and if its legal why not allow it to be weighed in. I dont know what side of the fence to stand on cause I dont think I have entered a tournament on a slot lake that you could weigh a fish that touches the bottom line, at the same time from the rule book it says that it can touch.

I hear ya, it's a touchy subject. Like at Basschamp on Fork they was allowing it to touch 16".

I vote do away with ALL slots.

+ 10000

You know all the things that have made bridgeport really hard to bass fish have been state impossed problems. Hybrids and Slot Limits have killed alot of good lakes.
