I was also thinking of hiring a guide to do some striper fishing does anybody have a guide they would recommend. I will take my boat so we can site see, I heard its a pretty lake

Possium Kingdom is a beautiful lake. I think that you'll have a good time. If you like beer, take it with you. The area out there is dry.

As far as guides go, I personally can recommend Randy Wood. Great guy and a full time guide on PK. He fishes for stripers.

Another well known guide on PK is Mike Acosta. Don't know him personally, but he too knows his stuff. Also a striped fish guy.

I've stayed at Sky Camp in January for a TSA tournament. It was a typical camp/cabin place. The people who run it are super nice. I for sure could recommend it as a place to stay.

Hope some of this helps.

Look up The Cliff's. Stayed there last time and you get to use the Marina as part of your stay.

In my opinion, the best place to stay is Bass Hollow Lodge. Close to the state park, 20 minutes to Hell's Gate. They have a convenience store, boat ramp, boat docks, gas, ice, beer, pizza, and friendly people. We go there every year.

Give it a try ...

I stayed with a group at Possum Hollow over Memorial Day weekend. It was a nice place with a good restaurant and a boat ramp. I would definitely recommend it.
