Topwaters are working pretty good right now in the morning. Yellow magic for numbers, Culprit top water shad for size. My Biggest went 8.25lbs. At least thats whats been working for me. After the sun comes up, try flipping the wood.

Last Saturday night the fishing was better when it got light on
Sunday morning. For some reason. I guess they were asleep, like I should have been. There was a flurry of activity with some decent fish in the morning.

Is there any good bank fishing at Joe Pool Lake...like in the State Park off of Beltline Rd? I went last weekend, pulling up nothing but super thick and very young Hydrilla. And, want to throw rocks and bottles at those d@am Jet Flea buzzing around 15-20 yards from your fishing poles all day long.
