havent had any issues with mine. I did notice that when the rod is bowed up fairly well, the line will touch the blank about 3-4 guides down and "pop" when the rod rolls off spline

For the money they are great rods. Can't wait to take a look at the new ones from them coming out.

have 4, love them ALL... wish the spinning rods handle was a little longer but still love it... best on the market dollar for dollar... put u a new sx (they added red highlights and such) and you have a GREAT combo that is really well ballanced

The BPS CarbonLite rods ($90 - $110) are more sensitive than the Vendetta, Carrot Stik, Mojo Bass or the Skeet Reese rods.

This was my question when I looked at them was that there seemed to be too few guides for the length.

I think they took the BPS carbonlites off the shelf because the casting rods had chronic breakage issues. When I was looking for similarly priced rods I researched the carbonlite and BPS online didn't have any. I also read on another site that BPS had pulled them off the shelves at their retail stores, so I figured the shortage online was also related. A lot of the reviews on the carbonlite are good. I just bought a 7'6" Vendetta and like it. I'd say it is a great value for the money.

Here's the post on the CarbonLite I was referring to.

Vendetta is very good rod for the money.... and I like the color....... My brother bought two...he liked them so much he bought a third...I fished with his and bought one. Put one of my Revos on it and I like it a lot. Tag on mine said 3 year warranty I think.

i had a 7'6'' heavy with a STX. the reel didn't fit snug in the reel seat so i got rid of it. i think they're decent rods for the money though...

I have three of them. Two with STX's and one SX. Absolutely the greatest combos i have ever assembled. They are all i use anymore. My Carrot Stix are all sitting on the wall rack collecting dust right now.

I have 2 6'6" medium Vendetta rods with Curado 100D's on them & they feel quite a bit lighter than my 6'6" IMX Loomis with a Curado 100D...please don't get me wrong, the Vendettas I own are NOT more sensitive than my IMX with the same reel but they are lighter & fish very comparable for a MUCH LOWER price.

I picked up 2 brand new Vendettas VERY VERY cheap (almost 1/2 price) so I couldn't turn down the deal...however, IF I were shopping today & wanted to buy the best $100 rod I could find I would ABSOLUTELY WITHOUT QUESTION buy Temple Fork Outfitters Gary Loomis signature series rod. It's $100 with a lifetime no questions asked $40 replacement warranty. YOU CANNOT BEAT the rod performance for $100 OR the $40 lifetime warranty!

that's JUST MY .02, a poor working man weekend angler with no sponsor affiliation what so ever.
