ANYONE HAVE A PICTURE OF LSS-1 TRANSDUCER MOUNTED ON A TR-21X TRITON? JUST GOT MY HDS-8 AND CAN'T WAIT TO INSTALL. ALSO DO YOU MOUNT THE LSS-1 TO THE BACK SIDE OF THE CONSOLE IN THE ROD BOX?

Lots of people have gone with the Transducer Sheild & Saver. Easy to mount on the jackplate. As for the LSS box, i've seen lots in the rod box. I have mine in the box and made it to where i can take it out and store inside when not in use.

The Rod box install for the LSS-1 works great since it's very convenient to reach and do trouble-shooting if need be.
If you ever lose connectivity to the LSS-1 from the head unit, it's pretty easy to determine whether it's a faulty ethernet cable or a bad port on the module by swapping them around.
Also easier to see which LED lights are on when it's in the rod box.

You wil love the DownScan maybe more than side view. It is amazing!!!
